Commonwealth Club Championships

IKA Karate Academy • September 23, 2022

Last Sunday was a big day for us as a club. We traveled to Birmingham to be part a a BIKO team to compete in the Commonwealth club Championships. 

This was our biggest competition to date! 


We are super proud of our 3 students that were asked to be part of the BIKO squad alongside students from Kirkburton Karate Club and Wales Karate-Do Kia. 


We would like to say a special Thanks to Biko karate for this fantastic opportunity and we look forward to representing you again in the future. 


Our superstar Louie who went and won himself a Bronze medal in the 12-13 yrs 55+ kumite category πŸ₯‰


2 fantastic wins and then only 1 point separated him from going through to the finals 


For students that have only been training for 18 Months you guys really have achieved so much already, keep training hard and pushing yourselves to the limit and your dreams will soon be a reality πŸ₯‹
